Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Coyotes and Candles's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

Coyotes and Candles offers:

• Live tarot reading services via video (three-card, seven-card, intuitive, and group readings)
• Paid tabletop RPG GM sessions via video (one-shots, private group one-shots, and ongoing campaigns)
• Handmade metaphysical goods (candles, incense, spell jars)

Booking and Scheduling

Appointment Booking

When you book a session (tarot reading or GM session):

• Your booking will be confirmed by email
• You will receive a private link to our built-in video room - no download or account required
• Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and camera/microphone access

Cancellation Policy

The following applies to all one-time bookings (tarot readings and GM sessions). Campaign subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

• 48+ hours before: Full refund issued automatically, or free rescheduling
• Less than 48 hours: No refund - contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate
• No-show: No refund

To cancel: use the cancel button in your account (48+ hours only) or email coyotesandcandles@gmail.com.

To reschedule: use the reschedule option in your account (available 48+ hours before your session, free of charge). Under 48 hours, contact us directly.

Our Cancellation or Rescheduling

In the event that we need to cancel or reschedule a session, we will contact you as soon as possible by email. You will be offered a full refund or a free reschedule at your preference. We will never cancel a session without notifying you directly.

Payment and Refunds

Payment terms:

• Payment is required at the time of booking
• We accept payment via Stripe (credit/debit cards)
• All prices are in Euros (EUR) unless otherwise stated
• Refunds are processed according to our cancellation policy

Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your payment method and financial institution.

Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for a session that was delivered as scheduled, we reserve the right to contest the dispute and provide session records as evidence to our payment processor.

Pricing and Changes

All prices are listed in Euros and include Finnish VAT (25.5%) unless otherwise stated.

• One-time booking prices are fixed at the time of booking and will not change after payment
• Campaign subscription prices will not increase during an active subscription period without your consent
• We will give active campaign subscribers at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect, and you may cancel without penalty before the new price applies
• We reserve the right to adjust prices for new bookings at any time

Tarot Reading Disclaimer

Please understand that tarot readings:

• Are for entertainment, spiritual guidance, and personal insight purposes
• Should not be used as a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or psychological)
• Reflect the reader's interpretation and your current energy at the time of the reading
• Cannot predict the future with absolute certainty
• Are subject to free will and personal choice

You acknowledge that you are using our services at your own discretion and take full responsibility for any decisions made based on the reading.

User Conduct

When using our services, you agree to:

• Treat our reader with respect and courtesy
• Arrive on time for your scheduled reading
• Not record the session without prior written consent from all participants
• Not use our services for illegal purposes
• Provide accurate contact information for booking

Sessions are not recorded by Coyotes and Candles. No audio or video from your session is stored on our servers.

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a session if you engage in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior.

Community Discord and “Daffy” Bot

We operate an optional community Discord server and a bot named Daffy (Daffodil the Coyote). Participation is voluntary and is not required to book or use our services. By joining the server, you agree to:

• Follow the server rules and treat other members and staff with respect
• Comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which also govern your use of the platform
• Not use the server or the bot for harassment, spam, illegal activity, or any abusive behavior

Linking your account is optional. If you connect your Coyotes and Candles account to Discord, Daffy will assign and update community roles based on your account status (such as verified member, customer, or campaign player), give you access to the private channel for each campaign you join, and, where enabled, may send you notifications and reminders - including direct messages - about sessions you have booked. You can disconnect at any time in Account Settings, which removes the link and those roles. See our Privacy Policy for what we store and how to export or delete it.

Daffy is provided for community fun and convenience on an “as is” basis. Its dice rolls and other features are for entertainment only and are not used for gambling or to determine any binding outcome. We do not guarantee the bot will be available or error-free.

We may remove content, restrict the bot, or remove or ban members from the server at our discretion, particularly for conduct that breaches these terms or Discord's rules.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including:

• Text, graphics, logos, and images
• Reading interpretations and methodologies
• Product descriptions and designs

Are the property of Coyotes and Candles and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. We comply with GDPR as we are based in Finland (EU).

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Coyotes and Candles is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for technical issues, internet connectivity problems, or third-party service failures (e.g., video conferencing platform issues)
• Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. We do not provide readings to minors under any circumstances, including with parental consent. By booking a reading, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in Finnish courts.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
